ace high Unscented Pomade

Ace High was created out of personal frustrations with existing products on the market. In early 2016, Nate began experimenting with small batches of natural ingredients in the hopes of developing a water-based pomade that offered a noticeable shine and a strong, flexible hold - something that was lacking at the time. While it would be ideal to say that the first batch was perfect and led to the immediate launch of the business, that's simply not how things unfolded.

Following several trial batches, it appeared that Nate had more success making candles than pioneering a new pomade, but he persisted, and a few months later, our Original Pomade was born. After Nate put in the hard work of formulating the product, I joined forces with him, and we transitioned from a small passion project to a full-fledged business. In August of 2016, we introduced our first production batch of the Original Pomade to the market.

During the initial stages, Nate and I had to wait until 11pm for our workplace, a coffee shop, to close so we could use their commercial kitchen for production. We managed to create 25 jars in a modified crockpot in under three hours (which sometimes stretched to four when we were joined by friends and a few distracting beers). Since then, we have expanded to offer a full product line, employ multiple individuals, and operate from an actual production space equipped to produce a larger quantity of jars at once.
